When we brought up the idea of a champagne celebration engagement session with Carly & Joey we just knew they were the couple for the idea. This fun loving pair happen to be our neighbors here in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
We started their engagement session in Untermeyer Gardens in Yonkers, NY. If you haven’t been to this amazing setting you should absolutely put it on our list. The gardens, stone paths, and overlook make for the perfect backdrop for every photo. Our first shot on our list was the Temple of Love, then the view of Hudson River and Palisade Cliffs. They laughed, they danced at the bottom of the waterfall, and snuggled under a tree together. Next we checked out the beautiful backdrops in the Walled Garden. This location really has it all when it comes to stunning views and little hidden areas to enjoy the view of the Hudson River and Palisade Cliffs. It's not only a gorgeous place for an engagement session in Westchester, New York, but it's a beautiful place to take a stroll with your partner! After touring the gardens for an hour, we made our way back to The Dobbs Ferry Waterfront Park for a champagne celebration and picnic.
When we all arrived at the Riverwalk in Dobbs Ferry the sunset looked incredible peeking through the beautiful willow tree. We set up the picnic scene under the tree and cracked open the champagne. After popping the cork, we encouraged them to spray the champagne all over the place, making for a perfect candid and fun shot.
Cheers to Carly and Joey! Can't wait for their wedding at The View on Hudson in Piermont, New York.
