Spring Wedding at The Tarrytown House Estate
We knew Danielle and Gary were destined for a great wedding day when we met them at the resorvoir in the Irvington Woods for their hiking inspired engagement shoot. The gorgeous sunset smothered them with golden light we knew we were in the presence of something special.

When the big day finally arrived the conditions couldn’t have been more perfect at the Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson. This couple turned the Biddle Mansion into their own private castle as the one hundred fifty guests filed in to witness this love story.
When we arrived we were greeted by a smiling Danielle and her girls and they were ready to kick off the celebration. We collected her bridal details and headed down to the stunning library to start our photography for the day. Her dress from Jessica Haley bridal looked stunning bathed in natural light from the hand cut glass windows. The light and look of this room make the bridal portraits stunning. After we finished the details Danielle came down with her Mother and Maid of Honor to get into her dress and get herself ready to meet her handsome fiancé. In the groom suite Gary was riding high.
We set Gary up in-front of the famous stone archway that leads into the castle. When Danielle came out we stopped her for a gorgeous portrait on the steps that can give anyone the chills as you can see her anticipation. When Gary was given the signal he turned around, smiled and greeted his bride with the most open arms. They danced, they walked, they smiled and laughed through their portrait session. We toured the mansion, shot photos on the terrace, the sculpture garden, the staircase and the library for this couples stunning bridal portraits. We even mixed in some Medium Format film to freeze these beautiful moments in time.
When the time for the ceremony came their friends and family entered the terrace area full of excitement. The story of this couple was really adored by everyone that witnessed the ceremony. They spoke about how they met, what makes them laugh and those little relatable quirks we all have in our relationships. They sealed their union with the rings and a kiss and headed to their party.
The reception started and the couple entered the room to kick the party off the right way. They sang and danced the night away. The speeches spoke of love, friendship and life together as Danielle and Gary gazed into the room full of their closest friends and family. When it was time to cut their cake everyone gathered around to watch. They cut and shared a slice of wedding cake as they shared the sweetest moment of the night together before getting back to dancing the night awa
