Theresa and Danny's Hudson Loft Wedding
We met Theresa and Danny two years ago when we shot Theresa's sister's wedding at Crabtree Kittle House. where Theresa was a beautiful maid of honor. Fast forward and here we are capturing Theresa and Danny's wedding at Hudson Loft in Irvington, New York.

When we arrived for Theresa’s getting ready photos we were greeted with open arms and familiar faces. Theresa chose to do her getting ready and bridal prep at mom’s house. Her mom cleared out her bedroom, because she wanted it to be perfect for Theresa’s getting ready photos. After some details and group photos we spent some time photographing our stunning bride as she put on her final touches. Her mother fit her veil and got her ready to head to the church.
Danny’s getting ready and groom prep was at a friends house. The groom had his brother, Uncle and 10 other long time friends getting dressed at the same time. It was a sea of tuxedos sharing stories, reminiscing about old times and prepping to celebrate their long time friend on his wedding day.
As we all arrived at Sacred Heart church in Dobbs Ferry guests were already waiting around. Their family and friends couldn’t wait to celebrate this couple. As guests filed in they all seemed to know each other really well. Truly this was a family affair. As Theresa made her entrance we photographed it from three different angles. Danny’s eyed were locked as he saw his bride for the first time as she made her way down the aisle. Walking arm in arm with her mother and brother she gazed directly at her soon-to-be husband. Just a stunning and loving moment shared by a long-time couple. It’s always feels that for just a brief moment a couple forgets everyone is in the room. After a candle lighting the couple exchanged their vows, some new jewelry and sealed their marriage with a kiss. They celebrated with a look out to the crowd that came to support them and made their way up the aisle. The bridal party led the guests to the front of the church to await the newlyweds exit. The doors opened Theresa & Danny appeared and everyone showered them with bubbles and cheers.
When we all arrived at Untermeyer Gardens we showed up like a parade. Thirty people celebrating and having fun posing for photos. We took some bridal party photos outside of the Stone Wall and then sent the crew back to the bus because it was really hot and we wanted Theresa and Danny to enjoy our tour of Untermeyer Gardens with no distractions. Every angle at this landmark location is just amazing. Its a can’t miss place if you have a permit and want photos that look like they came out of a bridal magazine. The stone, the ivy, the columns we could spend all day here. Unfortunately as we were concluding our portrait session we had a little sun shower. Fortunately we saw it coming and had an umbrella for Danny to hold over Theresa which made for a perfect photo op. The man is a gentleman. He put his arm around her, pulled her close and walked his bride back to the bus to seek shelter from the raindrops.
Upon arrival to Hudson Loft in Irvington, NY we noticed the rain had stopped and the sunset was making a perfectly timed golden appearance. We jumped in the car, crossed the train tracks and walked along the Hudson River for some finishing photos with the golden sunset. As we headed up the ramp to Hudson Loft Danny called for the freight elevator. When it arrived he gently helped Theresa inside. He held her dress, fixed his tie, pulled the door down and headed up to party the night away….
